Brian Williamson

Brian is currently the CEO of Your Research and Development Advisory Board (YRDAB), Chairman of FWB, Chairman of 4icg, Director at Equity Gap, and Chairman of Elevator. His roles span across diverse sectors such as R&D, executive search, client growth, investment syndication, and business support. In 2021, he was recognized by the Institute of Directors as the Non-Executive Director of the Year.

Brian's distinguished career includes a successful six year period as CEO of Jumpstart, one of the first R&D tax specialists in the market, where he grew the company to become the fastest-growing SME in Scotland before leading it to its eventual sale to ABGi, now Visiativ Group in 2019. His contributions to entrepreneurship across his roles were recognized with a lifetime achievement award from WeDo entrepreneurs and an honorary doctorate from Glasgow Caledonian University.
